There are values in this country that unite those of us who believe America is a great nation with great foundational principles. Whatever our culture, race, religion, or political affiliation, most Americans agree on certain core guiding lights.

Freedom, personal responsibility, Judeo– Christian Values, Free enterprise, local government, and democratic republicanism have all contributed to the great outcomes that America has brought to the world. City on a Hill Radio looks at current events from the standpoint of these founding guidelines. If we as a country can promote and live what we say we believe, we truly will be great!

Our founding principles are the key to building our future.

Gordon Cashwell (right) spent over 20 years as an inner-city pastor in downtown Charleston, SC pastoring a majority black church with a residential men’s program, kids camp, leadership school, daily food distribution and recovery and literacy classes.

He is currently director of a non– profit, a speaker, an author and a political pundit.

Ramon Roane (left) spent years in the military and also serving the community. He is a veteran, Christian, author, speaker and political pundit.

Together, Ramon and Gordon have a unique opportunity to influence not just to “preach to the choir” of conservatives while reinforcing already held beliefs, but to “cross the aisle” to build a bridge based on the foundational values of this country that many Americans ascribe to, no matter what their political, religious or cultural affiliations are.
